New Flying J Travel Center Brings Up To 130 Local Jobs, Restaurants, Merchandise to Cocoa, Florida

Pilot Flying J announced today that it will open a

Flying J Travel Center in Cocoa, Fla. on Aug. 19, 2017. The travel center features full amenities for area residents and the traveling public, while adding approximately 130 local jobs and other economic benefits to the community.

“We’re thrilled to serve the Cocoa community and contribute to the local economy with our new travel center,” said Ken Parent, president of Pilot Flying J. “Both local residents and those traveling through the Brevard County area and along Interstate 95 will soon be able enjoy the convenience and amenities of our new Flying J Travel Center.”

The new Flying J Travel Center offers many amenities, including:

·         14 fueling positions and eight diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling

·         PJ Fresh, fast casual food offerings, including PJ Fresh Pizza, soup, salads, sandwiches and hot dogs

·         Cinnabon

·         Premium coffee and cappuccino selections 

·         Everyday products for quick shopping needs

The new facility at 1101 Friday Road is Pilot Flying J’s 29^th location in Florida, and it is expected to contribute $3.9 million annually in state and local tax revenues.

The Cocoa Flying J Travel Center honors myRewards, through which members can earn in-store retail and restaurant discounts.
