Shannon Sturgil

Senior Vice President, Alternative Fuels

Shannon Sturgil serves as Senior Vice President of Alternative Fuels for Pilot Energy.

Shannon joined Pilot in 2024 to lead the Alternative Fuels Business Unit. In this role, he is responsible for Vehicle Electrification and Infrastructure, Hydrogen, and Environmental Sustainability.

Prior to joining Pilot, Shannon spent twenty five years working within the North American Energy business. He held leadership roles across generation and energy management solutions marketing, product line sales, business development, field account management and project execution at Siemens Energy Inc. Most recently serving as CEO of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Inc., where he led their North American Onshore Wind Division.

Shannon proudly served as a non commissioned officer in the United States Army and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from the University of Central Florida.
