Jesús Guerra

Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer – Pilot Energy

Jesús Guerra serves as senior vice president, chief operating officer for Pilot Energy.

Jesús joined Pilot in 2018 and oversees the supply and optimization, wholesale marketing, transportation, logistics and operations for Pilot Energy. He and his team are also responsible for growing and optimizing Pilot’s traditional and renewable fuels business.

Jesús has over twenty-five years of experience in a variety of finance and operational leadership roles within the energy sector. Previously, Jesús served as Business Manager at Noble Americas Corp., supporting the Global Oil Liquids Trading business. Prior to Noble, Jesús held various positions at Merrill Lynch Commodities, including operations, accounting, middle office, finance transformation, business planning and IT migrations. He played a key role in Merrill Lynch’s expansion into global commodity markets including crude and refined products, metals, and commodity index.

Jesús earned a B.B.A in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and a M.B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
