It is vital that we all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to help ensure that our team members and guests stay safe. In accordance with state and county ordinances, we require face coverings at our owned and operated locations. We appreciate your understanding to help us all stay safe. See below for more details on this policy and to learn more about our health and safety procedures. We are all in this together.
Our top priority is protecting the safety of team members and guests, while continuing to provide essential goods and services at our more than 780 Pilot and Flying J travel centers. We are open and ready to serve professional drivers, health care providers, first responders, food delivery drivers and many others working to support our communities and the country.
Our guest and team members’ health and safety are always at the heart of everything we do at Pilot Company, but now more than ever, we are focused on making sure everyone in our locations is healthy. We continue to sanitize our locations thoroughly and encourage our guests and team members through store signage to practice social distancing and healthy hygiene. The following policies are in place:
Team members are required to report any illness or symptoms immediately to our travel center leadership. To encourage self-reporting of illnesses, we have a implemented an emergency sick leave policy so that our team members do not need to worry about being paid as they recover from COVID-19.
Select food options in our network are closed for overnight hours only. Understanding the importance for professional drivers to have food options, during these hours, please note that these restaurant overnight closures are at travel centers locations that have an additional food choice for drivers, which will remain open.
We are actively complying with state, federal, and provincial policies throughout the United States and Canada as they affect other business functions.

Pilot Company is focused on sanitation of our fuel pumps, kiosks, and pin pads, and we wanted to remind you of our mobile app features. The app allows drivers to practice social distancing and healthy hygiene by using the mobile pay feature to reduce pin pad touches, reserve showers and receive notifications when their shower is ready - as well as share receipts to reduce use of the in-store driver kiosk. For more information on our app, please visit pilotflyingj.com/app.
Last but not least, don’t forget that your Pilot Company sales, credit, and guest services representatives are available should you have specific questions or needs. We realize everyone in the industry is working tirelessly to keep our nation’s shelves and medical supplies stocked. We are here for you and want to work alongside you during this difficult season in our country. Thank you again for all you and your drivers are doing to keep our economy and country strong.
